Guest guest
My 12 year old son is due to get braces in a few weeks. We were looking at ceramic because he is self concious about the appearance. But I have read they break easier and stain more. Also Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with different types or matierials braces are made of? We are chelating and he grinds his teeth more lately. We are also dealing with some yeast issues. He is very sensitive to mouth pain. He is not a candidate for invisalign because of all the work he needs done on his jaw. We have to travel 50 miles(one way) to the orthodontist so I am trying to maximize comfort but yet get the least harmful substances in his body and have a staff that is patient with him... Guest guest
I would look into Invisalign. They are like plastic mouth guards, but are actually braces. No one can tell you are wearing them, and you can take them out any time. The best part is they only need to be worn about a year and that's it. They are great!
