Guest guest Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 I recently received a baby, followed the recipe and have attempted to keep it warm by putting it in a slightly warm oven as often as possible. Im worried that the change in temp may not be a good idea but not sure how to get a warm temp this time of year.. Now, after further reading, I realize you are not supposed to move the culture for 10 days or so. Am I in trouble?? I have been moving it very gently,,but I have been moving it.. in the future, will it work in a dark cupboard with no heat source or should I be purchasing a heating pad to regulate temp? Please advise.. I also skimped on the 5 min boiling time for water..will this be a problem? Thank you for any advice! Quote
