But it has been in use as an antioxidant by many for over 25 years in mega dose quantities. And in your food for years along with BHA (Butylated Hydroxy Analene), the food preservative that earned both a bad rap since they are closely related. Many studies have been done on mice to see if it extended their life span, it did, and not just old age, it extends midlife, reproductive years.
