Guest guest Posted December 1, 1998 Report Posted December 1, 1998 A graduate of our program (University of the Pacific) conducts continuing education seminars on total contact casting - he should be an excellent resource for you. His name is Curtis Ivins and he lives in Salt Lake City. I can give you more info if you are interested. Guest guest Posted December 2, 1998 Report Posted December 2, 1998 Steve - Check back issues of the Archives of PM & R for articles by Phela Helms, MD. She is a doc out of Texas who has had great success with total contact casting. Dick Rood at Jefferson University Hospital in PHiladelphia also has experience with this - . My own experience with it is based on patient compliance with weight bearing limitations and timeliness of cast changes. Guest guest Posted February 10, 1999 Report Posted February 10, 1999 Patty Leahy PT, NCS wrote an article in the Neurology Report 8 to 10 years ago title " The Casting Worksheet " or something similar. Neurology Report is the journal of the Neurology Section, APTA. I believe it had a bibliography. I can be reached privately at gconnor@... I was unable to decipher a personal email address for you from your post. At 11:24 AM 12/22/98 EST, you wrote: >I am re-sending this because I did not get any responses.
