Much of my suspicions about health individually has come to rest on the fact that happy people don't seem to get ill, they only get killed. Most chronically ill people of the astounding range of affliction type, never seem to be happy. I don't remember a single case anywhere of a negative personality getting shot of Cancer. Not one. Interestingly, every survivor I know ( 868 final count) was a positive outlook type who reacted instantly to the hope of cure. The lousy taste or conditions involved count for zilch to a real ..... Survivor. I in fact, hope that this has enlightened you, Garnet. I appreciate the great amount of effort you put into these lists, but from a lot more intense real experience than most people can even imagine, I can assure you, sympathy is deadly for both parties and effort should never be wasted on the ignoble. Guest guest
Dear (always wanted to write one of those) You brought up a few points that have spurred me on to write this. 1 I have no idea why you feel the need to be so unappreciative and lacking in discernment of Garnet's background and qualifications to speak on the subject. 2 you have as much as said you are intelligent / experienced. I had someone say this to me, and I quickly pointed out it is only because we happen to be discussing what I know about, and that if/ and when we talk about her interests and expertise I would not seem so intelligent. .. you are most welcome to take a little of that attitude if you wish. I wont be offended, honest! 3 I think you said you are a positive and happy person. I often get a 'feel' for the character of a person by their writing. Do you really think folks in general would look at you and describe you this way? It is often more easy to fool oneself than everyone else. 4 What on earth would make you think that a coke once in a while would not be good for you Or have I read you wrong? Guest guest
Holy Cow! Coke and related products good for you? Now, I drink the rare coke myself, but I in no way think it is good for me or for anyone. Though it does make an excellent rust remover. Being good for you is a very different thing altogether. sol Wes wrote: > 4 What on earth would make you think that a coke once in a while > would not > be good for you > Or have I read you wrong? > > Wes >
Guest guest
Sounds a bit too OT you guys. Coke was, in this instance, a confidence gainer with someone I could not easily communicate with due to a language and culture barrier. Sometimes emergencies call for practices we would not normally engage in. Garnet > Holy Cow! Coke and related products good for you? Guest guest
LOL yes I suppose it is off topic but we need a little stress in our lives... even if it is from getting someone riled up a bit. .... Did you know that Edgar Casey said something about a cigarette once in a while is ok? ... and Dr Tom Bearden showed something about the lack of oxygen caused by a cigarette once in a while caused some sort of aerobic alert in the body.
