Hi andra--I'm so glad you're having good results too. I'm taking 200 mg of b-6. I'm thinking of combining regular with the p5p form, so I can take more. I don't want to overdo it, but I also think a little more would be better. I had gotten up to 400 mg but I backed off after reading about the toxicity. If you feel numb or tingly in your hands or feet, take less b-6!

I ran out of p5p during a recent snowstorm and wasn't able to get to the health food store where I buy it. I got some regular b-6 to substitute and it doesn't work as well. I'm taking 200 mg and after a few days, I'm not feeling as resilient to noise. I've got to get back there and pick up the good stuff!

Picked up some B6 today, I live in Sweden so am a bit limited as to

what I can get. Unfortunately couldn't get the P5P variant, but I

picked up some Pharmaceutical Grade B6 250mg. Also picked up some

Zinc which is apparently of a type that is easily absorbed by the

body.

Can't hurt :) Also read up on B6 regarding nerve damage etc, so will

keep an eye on that.

  • 2 weeks later...

Quick update from me, not sure if what I am feeling is a placebo

effect or not but here is what I have noticed:

Initially anxiety increased somewhat

A couple of days later I found I could sit at the computer without

having to have headphones on (to block the noise of the hard drives).

Dream recall - I've always had decent dream recall, so can't comment.

It certainly hasn't lessened it, last night I had many vivid dreams

So far so good for me.
