Guest guest Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Hmmm, well I have the usual small spray bottles of DMSO and EIS 50/50 for cuts, scrapes, or any skin problem. Lots of them around the house and car. This mix has made healing from various wounds easy, including from a dog that lacerated my arm and thumb. All immediately controlled with the spray. Saved the thumb nail for sure. But I am sure you know that, so I will tell you why I really have it around. Since it is known that an IV of DMSO after a stroke would help prevent any permenant injury, I think the simple roll on 99% DMSO rubbed all over the head area especially might just help almost as much as an IV. So immediate help is available if nesessary. Sometimes after a very active day I might get a cramp in some part of a foot and the 99% roll on fixes that immediately. On that same note I was having this crik in my neck that would present if turning the head in a cretain way. It is something like hitting your elbow funny bone. One day after being bothered a lot in the previous week, there was a particular spasam that stunned me. Well I had had enough and got out the old roll on and lathered it all around the area. This was many weeks ago and all the funny sensations left immediately and are still gone. Came back a little one day and repeated the same lathering. Nothing in a month now. So what happened? I don't know, but wondered if it might have been the beginning of an anurism that the DMSO cleared? My GF, who doubts me, called one day with news her sisters Dalmatian, a 13 1/2 yr old female was losing control of her rear end, and all the vet would say is get glucosimine. They were really desperate as they had her since puppy and I convinced her to give them jeffers addy to get some DMSO to treat her with. This was last Christmas and the pooch is running up and down stairs again, and is now several years older that her breed usually live. Ross in Nova Scotia How you take DMSO Hi there,I'm just kind of curious as to how people are taking DMSO. I'm sure each is different. Who takes it orally? Who applies to skin? Etc.? I'm just curious really. If you can elaborate as to why, that's even better.ThanksDirk No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition.Version: 7.5.430 / Virus Database: 268.14.6/535 - Release Date: 11/15/2006 3:47 PM Quote
Guest guest Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 When I tried DMSO orally, I put it into caps and swallowed quickly. Noticed no difference in my ailments so quit. Anyhow that is how I took it orally. I use it mixed with silver or gold colloidial on skin. For joints I use the gold and DMSO and for most everything I use silver and DMSO. Now if I could use DMSO on my brain, I'm ready to do it. I came in from the grocery store tonight with some disposable metal pans clad in plastic. Couldn't find anywhere to set them down so put them inside my oven, saying to myself "Don't turn the oven on without taking them out." OK. About an hour later I decided to make corn muffins to have with the fish I was cooking. Turned the overn to 400 degrees and until I smelled something odd 10 minutes later, I totally forgot the pans covered in plastic in the oven. Maybe someone should come and rescue my animals from old absent minded me. Margaret Park How you take DMSO Hi there,I'm just kind of curious as to how people are taking DMSO. Guest guest Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 Micki, and everyone, Do you think the 99% pure stuff we get at the feed store here in Eugene is the same as USP pharmacy grade? Guest guest Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 For any kind of trauma or infection. Topically most of the time but for closed head injury I give some orally, in milk and just let them drink it. Some like it in chicken broth. I give plenty of water and time to go to the bathroom because it will make them pee more. Garnet BEVERLE SWEITZER wrote: > > > " I use it in my cats. " > > Garnet: > Please elucidate. Guest guest Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 No, it can't be and be sold that cheap. USP labs are very expensive. I have been using the vet stuff for 35 years with horses and humans more recently. I have had seen no reactions that would be reason not use it. I also have not heard of any. I am very comfortable using it, but each person must decide for themselves what their standards of pure need to be, in anything. I remember once I had some DMSO and CS in a nebulizer and one of my cats drank it all when I opened the little cup thing. Faster than I could even realize what was going on. She had garlic breath for hours but it sure didn't seem to hurt her. Think they actually like it? Bev Quote
Guest guest Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Mixed with CS it can be very effective for tooth and mouth stuff, but tooth stuff can be very deep, even into the jaw bone and take a long period of treatment, even after the symptoms are gone to clear it. Guest guest Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 I really don't like the taste of DMSO in my mouth. However, I really like a mix of eis and a drop of diluted Oregano oil. I was having a problem with a very sore thoat and I've tried to cure with CS before and ended up going to the doctor. However, adding a couple of drops to my gargle mix of diluted Oregano Oil did the trick. I've used it before in my mouth: i.e. q-tip into diluted oregano oil, spotted on sore spot. Turn q-tip over and dip into silver with DMSO and dot that on top of diluted oregano oil and sore area vanishes within days-- maybe even one night if I get on it early. Love these natural remedies. Hate to go to the doctor. Margaret Park Quote

Guest guest Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Yeah, I almost never have it. It is my one vice. Sometimes I think I'm lacking in stomach acid and so I take a bit to see if that'll help - but it's very rare. Did you know Pepsi was originally a remedy for Dyspepsia? Guest guest Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 You need to take DMSO on an empty stomach. I have gotten nausea from taking it too soon after eating.
