So, I've had this dmso for about 5 years. Think it's bad?

It's 99.9% pure it says. Does dmso go bad?

JM it is probably to strong. You need to dilute it more.

The heat you get is a chemical reaction, it always

happens. Do not worry about that, when you apply to

your skin it will also have a chemical reaction, that is

why you want to start with 10 to 20% strength and

work up from there. Also be sure you are using sterile

water " distilled " so that it will be pure and sterile.

I have actually burned my back with DMSO, it is not

a problem, it just sloughs off skin slightly. But I use

sparingly as this can be a problem for some people.

It only takes a few minutes for the tickling to

subside. That is the reaction from the sweat on

our skin. Same as when you mix with water or

DMSO with water (warming takes place). Again be

sure the product stored has been kept sterile.

Some use aloe vera to dilute, I have tried this with

good results, I prefer a natural product I get from

my acupuncturist, I mix DMSO into this product and

store it. I only use a small amount and add more if

several months go by. Just a dropper full or so.
