Guest guest
Bremelanotide is very promising and it has been discussed here before (when it was called PT-141). Unfortunately, it could be a few years before it sees the light of day. Phase 3 is due to begin in 2-4 months. If that goes OK, I would expect it to be turned over to the FDA by mid-2007. Once it's in their hands, it could be 1-3 years before it's approved, if in fact it does get approval. I don't think the FDA will be in any hurry to approve a drug already known as an " aphrodisiac " . If it does get approval, I'm guessing late 2009. Good to know there's more hope down the road though. Luther > > Hi! This is related to my previous posts about Melatonin. Guest guest
Well, i've been reading more about it. It seems that Bremelanotide and Melanotan are related to alpha-MSH, but they are NOT exactly alphaMSH. They are analogs of alpha-MSH (they are based on alpha- MSH). Bremelanotide and Melanotan are synthetic peptide hormones SIMILAR to the natural MSH peptide hormones. Good news: Taking Bremelanotide or MelanotanII will not increase Alpha-MSH levels, BUT they will make our SEXUAL DESIRE higher . Bad news: if we are all suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome because of having low alpha-MSH, then Bremelanotide or Melanotan will NOT help us with the Fatigue. They will only make our Libido higher. Also, we are not 100% sure that we are suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome...But it is a possibility, because if we are having low libido, poor appetite and fatigue...But curiously, Libido, appetite and fatigue all depend on Alpha-MSH. And low Alpha-MSH is present on 90% cases of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome... So, i've been looking for info about CFS, and i've found this: It seems there is a blood Test for Alpha-MSH... http://www.immunesupport.com/Library/showarticle.cfm/ID/3990/HealthWa tch/HealthWatch-Holiday-2002 > > > > Hi! Guest guest
There seems to be people already using these on this site. http://melanotan.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=buysellmel > > > > > > Hi!
