Guest guest
as a recent "single" parent, I am overwhelmed by the cost rises. How are you who are not "with partner" managing? I have taken to making my own gf/cf products, my own rice milk (which is awful but my boy drinks it)I just spent 700 quid on heating oil (again!)thinking of taking in students to rent a room to make ends meet. >>>Its tough but my ex didn't work so I am better off with him gone, one less mouth to feed and all that. I plan to put the heating on for special treats only, woolly jumpers rule I say lol I'd rather go without food and fags than turn the hottub off We don't do organic I'm afraid, never could afford to go there. Doing lots of things with pasta now. Fruit and veg prices are scarey, tend to stick to special offers, munching on red seedless grapes, yes I know they are GM by nature but needs must eh? Hang in there Mandi x Are you claiming all you can tax credits wise, carers allowance etc? MM Made a loss last year and just found out I can claim carers allowance even though self employed so right now I feel rich!

When we had an income, it wasnt so bad, but really feeling the pinch. I guess everyone is.
Guest guest
I was wondering about Bobby's fund ... It's a cancer charity - a family who researched the illness and treated their boy against the odds. Anyway - they support some families with weekly organic veg boxes - they are very keen about nutrition for healing. It might be worth checking? http://www.bobbysfund.org/index.html Best wishes, Sandy
