Guest guest
Thanks for all of the genuine advice above. But....I keep getting private e-mails from people trying to get me to go to this CHEK Clinic, you can read about them on Quackwatch if you're interested. I think anyone who is charging £150 per hour for osteopathy (and about £2000 for a full assessment)and offering commission to people for referring patients is being a tad greedy. Guest guest
, I can't diagnose your problem online and won't try, but my impression of my peers in the physical medicine world is that most of them get so focused on moving stuck things that they forget that when something is " unstable " it needs to be stabilized by NOT moving it. Someone else suggested wearing a trochanteric belt to stabilize your joints, and that is what would be appropriate for such a condition. Repeated manipulation of a hypermobile and inflamed sacroiliac joint, for example, would only serve to keep the joint hypermobile and inflamed. Just something to consider when observing yourself. Best wishes.
