celebrate your strength and love for your child

Hello Everyone,

Good Morning! Today is my birthday, and as it's been

about 5 months now since we've been on this journey with our son's diagnosis,

I am going to celebrate! We're going out to BOTH lunch and dinner, with

a beautiful drive up the CA coast and ocean views.

Celebrate yourselves today and all that you and your

kids have gone and are going through. It's a very rough road at times, and

thank you for being our friends and companions on this ride, there has been

much unexpected beauty along the way.

We must have some guardian angels working overtime.

Hope they get a chance to rest their wings.

Hugs,

Heidi, Nick and Bexon

Thank you so much Shauna, Tasha, , Betty, Jill, Patty, Krista, Steph, and !!!

Tasha, I love that you and your boys toasted with their snacks in the yard. Too cute! We are lucky to live near the ocean. There are a lot of downsides to living and working in LA/Hollywood, but that is definitely an upside.

Krista, do you remember Lucy from "Peanuts" would always start announcing how many days were left until her birthday, about a month or 2 before the actual day? That used to (sort of) be me, at least to my husband, but this year I barely thought of it and then I thought, hey, this has been a very tough year at times, I'm gonna take my wins, baby. If we don't toot our own horns once in a while, who will?

Gonna catch up on the other posts a bit, now. Please tell me when your B-days come around, so I can wish you all a Happy Birthday, too! Thanks for making my day extra special, my friends.

XOXO- Heidi
