Guest guest
In answer to #1, no, not me. In answer to #2--do you know what the cause of the swelling is? Is it allergy? Is it infection? We have certainly used CS/DMSO for infection of the sinuses, nasal passages, and lungs. We use the nebulizer and have great success. I rather doubt that would help allergy, but am not sure. Yes, but it was very advanced, secondary to uveitis in a horse. Did not help. I have heard of it being used in treatment of uveitis early in the course of the disease, but it was thought to be impractical. There is an eye solution of DMSO, glutathione and I think Vit C discussed on the www.silverlist.org list -- check their archive. It was to treat and prevent cataracts. > > 2) Anyone ever use DMSO and other combinations for treatment of nasal > passage swelling. Yes, I use it frequently in the morning when my sinuses are swollen and it is giving me a headache. It helps clear the swelling, makes the mucous drain and reduces the headache within 5 minutes by at least half. The swelling and mucouse is from seasonal allgergies. I have not had a cold or the flu since I started taking CS last November. (Boy it feels great to be able to say that.) Garnet
Guest guest
If I may venture a suggestion for cataract and other eye problems, look into Dr. 's eye wash. I have used it and it is superb, if a bit trying at times. You can mix up your own, but if I were you, I would buy it prepared for now. It can be bought and read about at: http://herballegacy.com/id532.htm http://www.herbsfirst.com/NewsLetters/0499eye.html http://www.herbsfirst.com/extracts.html The cayenne makes it a bit uncomfortable, but it has proven over time that those with cataract that dare use it on a regular basis, those catarcts will fall off. doug
