Guest guest
If DMSO would be helpful for my recently painful hip joints, just where do you paint it on? The hip joint has some tender skin on two sides and tougher skin on the other two sides. One of my hip joints kept me awake part of last night and if I could have painted it before I went to bed maybe I'd have had more sleep. Margaret Park dmso and carpal tunnel? my wife has carpal tunnel, has dmso been used for it at all? thanks for any info, michael> ------------------------------------------------------------------------> > >
Guest guest
I generally put it right over and around the painful areas. If the skin is sensitive dilute the DMSO to 30-50% and use moisturizers like aloe vera gel or emu oil to prevent drying. It can also be taken orally, 1-2 teaspoons a day is an average does although people have taken more. I prefer taking it on an empty stomach as too much food can make for slight discomfort. Guest guest
Hi, Garnet -- What worked out was DMSO Cream (DMSO, Aloe Vera, Vit. E, Jojoba Oil, B-Complex and 'other herbal complex) on the front of the leg where the joint is and my usual 2 parts CS to 1 part liquid on the outside and the back side. I didn't bother with the 4th side which we all realize is a particularly tender area. The wonderful thing, is that one of my hips kept me awake hurting the night before and both of them hurt all day the next day when sitting down, getting up or going up or down stairs. I put the DMSO on right before bed, brushed my teeth and before I lay down there was no pain. Slept like a baby all night. Isn't that stuff just wonderful! Guest guest
What I meant to say is 2 parts CS to 1 part liquid DMSO on the outside and the back side. Sorry -- one gets a bit careless sometimes typing on a computer. I remember typing on typewriters with four copies. One was very very careful in those days.
