The adventure of discovery is fueled by creativity, curiosity, logical imagination, and critical thinking. I am a big fan of Dr. . One of his key mental elements, is termed " mistaken certainty " . It is something in which you are " certain " , but are mistaken. I search for these Mistaken Certainties in my daily thoughts and look to find them, with interest in exploring them for more clarity and understanding. I think one of our (and I do this too) biggest weaknesses, is to devote too much time into " proving the proven " and " securing " ourselves in our present awareness (what we think we know at the moment) rather than challenging our beliefs and making them stand the test of critical thinking. I have to admit that I also find myself doing this with the thoughts and concepts of others, as well as my own. I trust most will understand that this is a process that can be enlightening.
