Hi Lena,

I hope you are on the mend today. I've fallen down the stairs myself, and I can truly relate. Your tips about arnica are ones that I have followed up on, this morning. I haven't tried that remedy, but it might work to soothe my arthritis. I hope it does the trick for you.

Best,

Jane

Hi Everyone,A couple of hours ago, I slipped on the lower stairs in my sock feet and when I realized I couldn't correct, let myself go limp and thumped my way to the bottom, mostly on my left outer thigh just below the hip. My left collar bone hurt a lot too, but I'm not sure how that was involved. I'll probably find out what else was involved tomorrow. :(My whole body was severely jarred, and I immediately took some Rescue remedy, some ibuprophen, rubbed DMSO into the pounded area, and rested on the sofa, staying warm so things wouldn't stiffen up, and stretching and flexing everything I could. Nothing was broken, and I'm not doing too badly now, but would appreciate any tips on how to minimize the aftermath.Yeah, I know: don't walk around in socks without grips or treads. Also, install a handrail on that lower part of the stair. sigh. Thanks for any advice you can

spare.Be well,Léna

Lenadarling woman , spirit sister Im so sorry you had that fall.remember Ice for 48-72 hours if anything is bruised or swollen.Heat only increases swelling after an acute injury.Heat after 48 hours or switch off betqween ice and heatMagnesium oil, Hypericum spray( st johns wort) or st johns wort infused oil will relieve pain.incense essential oil or boswellia is a relaxant and pain relieverI really cant say enough about these remedies.frankincense /boswellia and st johnswort/hypericum have been lifesavers for me whewn in pain.st johnswort is best for pain when applied topically, it doesnt work for pain so much internally , but boswellia/frankincense can be used either internally or externally.spary the hypericum down the spine for nerve pain relief and

where any nerve pains are at the ouch pointhealing light sent your way jan "Im not trying to counsel any of you to do anything really special, except to dare to think, and to dare to go with the truth ,and to dare to love completely." -R. Buckminster Fuller

Sister Jan,Amazingly, the DMSO seems to have either muted the bruise or it's so deep it hasn't worked up to the surface. I kept my body warm as I knew I was in shock. Mercifully, my spine took no direct hit, although all of me was wrenched. I'm icing today, but it's a very cold day; not very conducive.Except for mag. gel, I don't have the other ingredients. Ironically, Monday I was out of town at the store that carries all this stuff. Figures!I do have St. 's Wort tincture. Would that work with a mix of DMSO and water in a spray? Thanks for the healing light!Be well,Léna Lenadarling woman , spirit sister Im so sorry you had that fall.remember Ice for 48-72 hours if anything is bruised or swollen.Heat only increases swelling after an acute injury.Heat after 48 hours or switch off betqween ice and heatMagnesium oil, Hypericum spray( st johns wort) or st johns wort infused oil will relieve pain.incense essential oil or boswellia is a relaxant and pain relieverI really cant say enough about these remedies.frankincense /boswellia and st johnswort/hypericum have been lifesavers for me whewn in pain.st johnswort is best for pain when applied topically, it doesnt work for pain so much internally , but boswellia/frankincense can be used either internally or externally.spary the hypericum down the spine for nerve pain relief and where any nerve pains are at the ouch pointhealing light sent your way jan "Im not trying to counsel any of you to do anything really special, except to dare to think, and to dare to go with the truth ,and to dare to love completely." -R. Will someone please tell me how they got the pain out of the tailbone! As I posted before - I broke mine as well from skating! n Nothing I am doing is taking the pain away! MJ

*Hi, MJ:*

**

*I would try Traumeel by Heel. You can get it at www.vitacost.

com It

comes in cream to rup in and pills to take. I have fallen down our stairs

and wrenched by shoulder - did both forms of trameel and all the pain was

gone in a few days. I lifted something too heavy the other day and set

that right shoulder on fire again. I was out of the cream so just took the

pills every couple hours - pain all gone in a couple of days! It is amazing

stuff!*

Thanks Cheryl,

I am trying this. Trying to reduce everything I am trying, but this looked good because of your recommendation and the description says it does not interfrere with other meds.

Thanks all so much,

MJ
