Hi Penny -- good to hear you're alive and kicking. I'm jealous but glad you

were able

to go away for a week. I feel so trapped in my apartment. Haven't had a

vacation

since 1996. But let's put away the violins for now...

Al -- I agree with Penny. Your body will tell you how much is too much, both

for " C "

and salt. I've found just the past 2-3 weeks, if I eat too much sodium (no

matter what

the form, but especially concentrated sources like krystal or sea salt (and also

kelp

or kombu, which I just started), I kind of shrivel up! Get deyhydrated -- so

less is

better for my body I think.

My other concern is that sodium can possibly pull other minerals out or make

one's

body excrete them in greater quantitiies. That's why I'm using the kombu

instead of

the other salts -- it has calcium and more of the other minerals, to help

balance the

system.

Just my two cents...

d.

Hmmm, just read on another board that salt has been " proven " to

prevent lyme in cattle. Has anyone else ever read anything supporting

this?
