Zea mays - anti-proteinuria

By chance, I came across a mention in Bartrun about Zea mays being used in

proteinuria. I can't find anything to support this. Does anyone have any

comment? My interest at present is fuelled by currently having two pts who are

pregnant and have a history of eclampsia and pre-eclampsia.
