Guest guest
Hi everybody, I'm looking for info on the physiological effects of regular cannabis use. I've a patient (age 17), whose onset of clicking & creaking knee joints 3 yrs ago roughly coincides with when he started smoking dope. For the last year he has been smoking daily, and knees have worsened, plus in the last 6 weeks fingers are creaking, too. Could there be any connection (beyond increased toxin load) ? At the time GP dx that Sx were due to growth spurt. I'm surprised that 3 yrs later it is anything but getting better. Can cannabis affect bone development/joint function? If so, how? Any ideas/ Info much appreciated Many thanks! Sabine Sabine Hiller BSc(Hons) MIIMH MNIMH Medical Herbalist Knockrooskey Westport Co.Mayo Tel. 098-35909 herbalist@...
