Guest guest
Qoya, I'm sorry your dad is not feeling so well. He should see his doctor or at least call them to let them know. I felt like that for months before my transplant, and I did vomit on a daily basis for about a month before my transplant. I hope he feels better. That is the worst feeling. My dad is having thse symptoms now and I am very concerned because he has been diagnosed with cirrhosis. I & #39;m not sure if he is having any pains and/or where. I am at work and I called him to see how he was doing and he told me he felt like he needed to vomit > I & #39;m so concerned because he was doing fine until now. Thanks in advance for your feedback. > > Qoya >
Guest guest
Hello, I too, had about 6 months before I was diagnosed when I was very sick. I couldn't eat more than a bite. Nothing sounded good. Wanted to vomit all the time even though there was nothing there. Was very constipated. I wouldn't have any bowel movement for days and days. Had very bad edema in my legs, ankles and feet. After I was admitted to the hospital for a little visit of 3 weeks everything changed.... I was diagnosed with cirrhosis and a very high meld of 37. But I have felt better ever since. My meld is down to 25 and has stayed there. I am on the transplant list but no more horrible symptoms like that and I have no idea why. I am only on diaretics and lactalose but my appetite is good, etc. etc. My only suggestion is that he tells his Dr's and follow their lead. Make sure he is seeing a hepatologist. My Dr's prior to my hospital stay at Loma had no idea what to do... > > Good afternoon all, > > Have any of you or family members experienced a feeling of needing ro vomit but just could not.
