I just thought I was going mad seeing these things and hardly discuss it with anybody for fear of being labbled a nut case. In times of stress, what I'm looking at seems to be on a television screen and it gets smaller and smaller and more and more distant as do the sounds that accompany it. Finally it gets so small that it disappears and I'm left in blackness and silence which should be reassuring but is actually quite frightening. Once I confessed to my father that this was what happened when he was lecturing me about something and he accused me of " turning him off " intentionally. I don't think he fully understood how terrifying it is for me when that happens. Sparrow

Guest guest
Thanks for the tornado tip, ! Wendi Re: Re: To Wendi Re: Irlen Lenses I have never really paid enough attention to the grass and all to see if that gets greener before a storm. I am usually looking up at that clouds to see what they are doing. Things sometimes get more orange or reddish due to the heavier clouds. Of greatest concern should be if you see a greenish patch in the sky during a storm. That can be an indication of a tornado. There's been no explanation as to why that is, though I haven't looked for it, but that is true. Several years ago a heavy storm passed just to the north of here and happened during an afternoon walk with the dog. On the side of the mass of clouds there was a hole, almost like an eye looking back at me. The clouds were this dark grey on the outside, but through the hole the clouds had this odd greenish tint. Since the wind was picking up and it was starting to rain, we hurried home. Later on the news, it turns out a small tornado did appear from that storm, though it didn't do any damage.
