I'm curious about these, too. They sound similar to the WaterOz minerals,

which don't have mg equivalents listed. My son's doc loves the WaterOz, and

they are so easy to use (look, pour and taste like water) but I'm always

concerned about whether he's getting enough.

All very good questions. I have talked to Jim at WHM, (a very nice fellow)

and could not get any satisfaction as to amounts of nutrients in his

products. I have a patient whose mother loved those liquid tasteless

minerals and has been using them for over a year, and when I tested him to

possibly start TD-DMPS, he was markedly deficient in every mineral,

particularly the important ones like zinc and selenium. I have told her she

must give the ones I've had a lot of success with, Thorne's Pic-Mins and

VRP's Zinc Monomethionine, either in place of or in addition to what she has

been using, and we will be testing him again, as he was far too deficient to

be anywhere near able to undergo chelation. Dr. JM

Thanks for your response.

Well, I wonder how Dr. Buttar can use their minerals then. They compound a

special

formulation for him. Maybe he also uses other minerals?

Re: Picmins, my son became very aggressive/hyper/irritable when I gave a small

dose to

him a couple of times, so I never repeated them. Any insight or ideas?

Thanks and all my best, Jill
