Dear Listmates,

For those of you using glutathione or who have tried it and your

child hasn't been able to tolerate it, this product (available

through Wellness compounding pharmacy www.wellnesshealth.com)has been

getting rave reviews on another list that I am on. It is a liquid

taken orally. The people who have been trying it for the most part

are chelating their kids with TD-DMPS and have seen it have a

positive effect on the increased stimming and other negatives that

seem to occur after the first month. Of course, a few who have tried

it have not had as good a result.

My son didn't seem to tolerate the td-glutathione from Coastal - he

seemed very obstinate and uncooperative. Since that was the last

thing I had added, I stopped it and since then he has improved to the

point that I got the first note from the special ed teacher in WEEKS

that he was very focused, on-task and cooperative. We've also

noticed lots more language and attempts at language in the past few

weeks which I attribute to the mB12 injections and folinic acid.

Anyway, just thought some of you might be interested in this

product. Wellness is offering a discount if you mention that you are

a DAN patient, or also NAA.

Actually the sales rep I talked to asked me to tell Dr. M about it because she

said she did not think they had given Dr. M a print out on it yet. It is new by

Klaire.

When I talked to Dr. M about it, she did not know that Klaire had that, but did

say that another company had developed one. So that may be what you have heard

about. I don't remember the name of the other company she mentioned.

Dr. M did say that she did not think it would hurt to do both oral and

transdermal if you chose.

I am going to try to do both, most especially during flu season.

Zack is at this moment recovering from a very bad stomach bug that caused

vomiting all night long Wen. night. He literally was up all night, it was so

bad. That was one loonnng night!

No telling how his values would look now.

But he is much better today and should be fine by tomorrow. I don't have any of

the M-B12 shots yet, and was sure wishing I did!

Well, I don't know about the other company, but Klaire reps were giving it in OJ

and said that was the best way to give this. Maybe one of us should ask them to

make sure if it was pure OJ or a mixture of other juices. I really did not

think to ask if that would make a difference, but they did not say anything

about not putting it into pure OJ juice. I was impressed with how it tasted, or

not tasted would be the better word. Personally, all I tasted was the juice. My

taste buds are not as sensitive as some peoples' so someone else may notice an

after taste. My friend said she noticed an after taste, but said that it was

mild. That would make my kids very happy!

Re: LipoCeutical Glutathione

Any word about how well the Klaire product is absorbed (better than the

standard 20%?)

Also, the Wellness formulation is specifically NOT supposed to be given with

citrus; obviously if they're mixing this in OJ, it doesn't affect it? I'm

curious because I mix many of Brett's supps in OJ to mask the taste.

Thanks for any info-

Sue

I have also heard that the Wellness LipoCeut Glut isn't supposed to

be mixed with citrus or food for that matter, but I looked over the

inserts that came with it today, and found no mention of that.

I ask the dr. who developed this product if there were any

supplements that should not be mixed with it. He said, if anything

at all, maybe vit. C. I ask what would be the best way to give it.

He said OJ or citrus would be ok if it was mix and taken right away,

but that any non-citrus juice would be a better choice. (grape,

apple, pear etc.)

He also said that it should just be sort of swirled into the juice,

not stirred hard as it will damage the supplement and release the

sulphur taste.

Hope this helps.

Ann,

Are you in touch with the Wellness folks? Perhaps if the vitamin

C/citrus thing and the swirling, not shaking vigorously thing are so

important, they should be included in the info that comes with the

LipoGlut. When I called to order, you could tell it was really

busy. If you have a more direct contact with them, perhaps you could

request more in depth instructions.
