Dear FMS/CFIDS Community Member,

The May events celebrating CFIDS Lobby Day (May 14) and FMS/CFS/MPS/GWS (May

12) Awareness Day are drawing closer by the day! Therefore, I both invite and

urge you to visit SHN's Lobby Day page to participate in some of the political

action-oriented services SHN is providing for those of you who are not able to

travel to Washington, D.C., including:

* What Do You Think? -- SHN's current poll questions want to know, " Is the

internet your primary source of information on CFIDS and FMS? " and " Is the

internet your primary source of support for CFIDS and FMS? "

* The Legislative Action Center -- An easy, step-by-step way to e-mail your

representatives in support of further research and funding for CFIDS and FMS.

We have already received close to two hundred letters from members!

* Special Events -- A description of scheduled chats, such as the upcoming May

19 chat with Vicki Carpman and Kim Kenney of the CFIDS Association of

America when they discuss their impressions of the Lobby Day events.

* CFIDS/FMS/MCS/GWS Awareness Events -- Links to organizations that are

sponsoring events in Washington, D.C. next week, including the Fibromyalgia

Network, R.E.S.C.I.N.D., and WECAN.
