Guest guest
If a great number of us would for about 5 minutes a day channel the incredible energy we direct to the healing of our kids beyond the personal to include the all, I agree it could do amazing things for the world. Someone has already put out a letter to many of us to do something like this to send Kerry lots of love and light and empowerment to win the election and to fulfill the power we invest in him to bring our country out of the morass it is in. I feel he would be more receptive to this energy than Bush, but whoever wins should have this kind of support nevertheless (even though it would be hard). Any other path is even more hapless and hopeless and joyless. To do it together would empower it logrithmically. Logistic problems are time differences and incredibly varied and busy schedules. Guest guest
Yes, I would love to do this! I am still not a lone meditator. I lack the desire to focus on it, and tend to put it off until a more peaceful time. Then when that time comes, I do something else. How often can a mother, so " other " focused, have the discipline to meditate? I'm sure others do it, but I'm always the late bloomer. I have to constantly remind myself that this world is a temporary thing, and yet strive to decrease the suffering in the world at the same time. Holding these two things lightly is a challenge. I get swallowed up in despair, like this afternoon. I took my daughter and her friend out for an afternoon at the zoo (ok, not my fave place, but it is outdoors), in lieu of cleaning my house or sitting around moping. I am better now. Let's all remind ourselves that we must take time every day to renew our strength before taking on this seemingly impossible task. All of you, sitting there at your computers, help me every day, just knowing that you're there. Thank you. And Jaquelyn, you're a treasure. Guest guest
I think we need to schedule and on-line time for visualization. I believe thoughts directed in a positive way are a mighty energy force that can bring amazing changes to the world. Trouble is we don't do enough of it. Re: Re. Guest guest
The autism community has to be one of the most open and giving groups of people around. It is one of the few places where I feel understood and not alone. Thank goodness for groups like this. Re: Re. OT- The " prison " of ASD >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> Well said .
