I am sorry to hear about his hearing loss. I hope things get better with the tubes. I know my nephew had to have tubes because he would grunt and make noises before them but after he got his tubes he started talking up a storm. Thanks for the update. Taryn and Indiana Hello everyone,I know it has been a few days since I checked in but 1 week down and is doing well. He has one red spot that is on his forhead that is like a callus forming, not sure how to spell that. It does not seem to both him. We had his helmet off most of yesterday because he had his hearing test appointment. He was tested and his ears were checked. The hardest part we were told was to get the IV in for the anthesia. They found a lot of fluid in his ears, drained it and put tubes in. We were concerned because we are flying to New Zealand in December and it was important to have his ears in good shape.Unfortunantly his hearing test still showed hearing loss. I do not know exact loss amount yet, the results are being looked at but it looks like mild to moderate loss. I am still hopeful but at this stage I am looking toward the fact that he may need hearing help. I am glad we have discovered this so early, 5 months.Anyway he is a happy boy, that is the important thing. He charmed everyone!
