Guest guest
Hi, Tom: You asked a lot of questions! Few medical people are big on MMS. My personal thinking is because it is so easy and effective, it would put most medical types out of business! ;-) You can read all about it at www.jimhumble.biz No, it isn't poisonous or I and many others would be sicker and/or dead! MMS is chlorine dioxide that kills pathogens by oxidation. When it has done its thing, it turns into harmless salt in the body. One of the common misconceptions is that chlorine dioxide is chlorine bleach....it isn't. You can read a great article here: http://jimhumble.biz/biz-brochure.pdf The reasons I picked MMS is the fact that it kills all pathogens. Most of us are dealing with many things that way may not even know we have. MMS also helps with mercury issues. I didn't find it dangerous. If you decide to try it, be sure and ask JimJax for his file on MMS and how to use it. Several people have used it. Hopefully they will chime in and let you know how they fared. If not, ask! Take care, Tom. Cheryl Cheryl Hi. My llmd is not big on mms. I didn't read the book and never pushed it. Do you herx from it or is it mild? Is it dangeous? Is it poison?? Sounds like you're doing well. I'd like to get there. Tom : )) To: Lyme_and_Rife Sent: Sat, December 5, 2009 10:51:08 AMSubject: Re: OT - Cysts Hi, Jane: Try not to freak out....which is so easy to do with our Lyme Brains. ;-) Benedryl is actually an easy fix. My Naturopath Doc told me to us it for sleeping as it is not habit forming and relatively harmless compared to so many other " drugs " . So, using benedryl can be OK. No need to freak there! ;-) I am a huge proponate of MMS, so don't take the following wrong. But if you are swapping MMS for teasel and Neem....well, they are all " nautural " . What I took is MMS and Teasel. They work very well together. Teasel calls the Lyme out, and MMS kills it. Or, maybe you are using the MMS topically only? That is a great idea as well. Remember to take your MMS at least 2 hours from any medication or most other supplements as they will keep the MMS from working. The bottom line is you have to do what sounds right to you. Remember most of the medical community doesn't even believe in chronic lyme, let alone, treating it " naturally " ! Keep asking questions here....there are people on the forum that have used meds with the natural stuff so can answer those questions. I just don't happen to be one of them. I went natural all the way. If you read Connie Strasheim's book, the new thinking in curing Lyme is to use a combination of abx and natural healing to facilitate the best healing possible. The best Lyme doctors in the world are now using both together. No need to freak there either. ;-) Hang in there, Cheryl Y. I figured it really can't hurt too much at where I am at right now. If it gets worse I will stop right now. I talked to the pharmacist and let me tell you - she was like: get off all of those naturals. They are not regulated and can counter-act the medications you are on! Okay, she then proceeds to tell me that Ambien for sleeping is addicting, but out of the other side of her mouth she tell me to take Benadryl everynight to go to sleep! What? Did she just say what? I couldn't believe it. Double WOW. Okay, I am stopping the teasel and neem for a minute and the ginger to see what happens. I just don't want to stop the garlic because I feel like it has helped. As well as the astragalus! Does anyone know if one can become allergic to astragalus? I make tea out of it and chew it, as well as put the roots in my green tea. And I cannot stop the black cohosh because one time when I didn't have any left and couldn't get to the store, in like two days I woke up with cold sweats - and a not too pleasant smell! The one thing she did say that actually made a small amount of sense is that I MIGHT have an added side benefit of reducing the " swelling " and cysts size because of the antihistamines in the benadryl. So - I am so desperate, I am going to try it. I also am going to ask my LLMD to prescribe Phisoderm prescription for cleansing of the face if the hibiclense does not work. Does anyone know the " natural " counter-part to benadryl? As you all can tell I am so freaked out and again, desperate! I think maybe Cheryl (?) told about the MRSA - so I thought even if the cysts aren't that - the cure might work for this!I also took from Jim's (thanks Jim) reply and am going to order the MMS. Try that. Thanks all - I will keep updated as to progress,MJ
