Angie,

FWIW, I have a citrus fragrance that has been used in sunscreen products by

a national marketer. It is listed for sale on my web site. Additionally,

many fo's as you refer to them do contain various essential oils. Also note

that reputable fragrance houses follow the RIFM guidelines when formulating

a fragrance. RIFM is the Research Institute of Fragrance Materials. They

have investigated many of the materials used in perfumery and determined the

safety and uses of these materials.

Hi, I am still working towards a " citrusy " scent in my lotions, creams, etc.

Don't fos often contain eos? How can I be sure that a particular

citrusy-type is skin-safe? One company, Sweetcakes, has very good smelling

fos, but they describe a fragrance oil that I am interested in purchasing:

'top notes of orange, lemon, etc'---is there any need to be concerned about

the phototoxicity issue?

Thanks,

Angie
