Hi everyone, hope you've all had a good summer.

I have a pt who would like to use rhodiola rosea but is concerned about the

caution on jars in health food shop regarding cardiovascular complaints. I've

searched the list archives for discussion that occured some time ago - Nikki

mentioned that Holford's book notes no cautions for Rhodiola. Is the

caution just by association with other adaptogens ie Eleutherococcus which can

raise blood pressure??

Also, anyone used this herb or able to recommend good source?

Regards

Hi

I've a patient who self prescribed Rhodiola, I've been having trouble

dealing with her sleeplessness and was interested that a piece in

Holland & Barrett(!)'s magazine listed insomnia as a possible side

effect
