Ray > It's good to hear from you, Ray!!! I was wondering where you were. I am so glad to hear is doing well in his helmet. I wish you the best with everything and keep up the good work, !!! Are you still seeing Jim? We need to call tomorrow to see if he can see as she has a red spot that didn't go away tonight. > > Taryn and > Indiana > Re: Ray _ Thank You Beck > > > I apologize that I have not gotten back to anyone about the Ballert Helmet. I have been so swamped for the past couple of weeks. > > is doing fantastic. I can't believe that we have had no problems whatsoever. Because of his age (10 months) the Dr was concerned that he would really fuss. We got the helmet on Wednesday 10/2 and I think he has only touched it once. As soon as he realized that he couldn't pull it off, it was almost like he shrugged his shoulders and went on his way. He slept in it for both of his naps on Thursday with no problems, so on Friday night we put him to bed for the night with the helmet on and figured that if we needed to, we could always go in and take it off. usually sleeps through the night for about 11 hours, but that 1st night, he slept for almost 13. We couldn't believe it. He has been wearing it ever since for about 23 hours a day and we have had no problems. > > The Dr wanted to see him on Monday 10/7 so that he could check the fit and to make sure that there were no problems. The Dr said that he has never seen such improvement in such a short period of time (5 days)! I will be honest with you, I have been skeptical of this process the whole time, but once I saw the pictures, I couldn't believe my eyes. 's plagio was considered moderate. In the initial photo (pre-helmet) you not only see the flat spot, but his facial asymmetry is visible. In the photo (5 days post helmet) there is very little flat spot and you can barely notice any asymmetry. I don't understand how anything can begin working so quickly, but I am absolutely amazed. He had to make an adjustment already because his head is rounding out already. > > We actually had to call the Dr yesterday to see if we can bring him in next week because it seems like we may need to have to make another adjustment. > > Thank you very much for your thoughts. I really do appreciate your help and advice on this. It really made the whole process a lot easier. Sorry again for not keeping in touch. > > > Ray >
