Guest guest
Herbalgram had a study on the Essiac herbs not long ago. I´ll try to find which issue for you. Otherwise search their website www.herbalgram.org Good luck, Stina Essiac > Does anyone have any experience of using the Essiac herbs for the treatment of cancer? > I have a patient with previous breast cancer and now cancer of the pancreas. She has discussed treatment options with hospital consultant and has decided herself not to have further radio and chemo therapy but to use Essiac and diet. Her decision has the blessing of both consultant and GP as they feel that she has nothing to lose. Both chemo and radio therapy could exacerbate her condition. > I have bought and am reading 2 books on the subject but would appreciate some hands on advice. > many thanks in anticipation. > Des > Medical Herbalist > Stowmarket, Suffolk > > > --------------------------------- > Yahoo! It may be psychologically justifiable in certain instances. There are things that can be done but its a long haul, and requires a complex surgical procedure and has a low success rate. To be honest, if she has decided to end her life without further conventional intervention , that is an entirely valid path. But essiac and diet will not constitute a " treatment " . You need to be clear about that. Improving quality of life is an essential part of palliative care. Herbs can help in this regard. jonathan

I've heard from two different herbalists that pancreatic cancer involves walled-up unspent grief. Ask your client about that - because both herbalists said that once the client grieved whatever recent or ancient loss he/she had that was eating away at him/her, the cancer went away. If grief is not involved, sorry, can't help. Guest guest
Hi all Can someone please give the recipe for Essiac tea; I have a patient who very much wants to try it, and is coming to see me on Friday. I had the recipe, but have mislaid it, and can't find it on the archives (maybe I'm not doing it right) Many Thanks in anticipation.
