Guest guest
ri Get an extract put into capsules by Pukka or use standardised extract. Of Pukka caps, take 6-8 daily. Stuart Fitz
Guest guest
Dear , Thank you for your points I was simply trying to help by providing a way for someone to access the benefits of chinese medicine safely and effectively, since this formula has been useful to several patients both in treatment and maintenance obviously in conjunction with a tailored regime which is what I suggested in replying to an enquiry on this issue. I overlooked the fact that it contains Jiang Can, and fully agree with your points as stated from the MCA. It is up to me to see if I can get it made up without the Jiang Can content. Thank you for your points they have been noted. Lorraine.
Guest guest
ri The best success I have had with psoriasis has been in a man with very extensive plaques who is now much improved, underlying skin being pink rather than angry red, & the plaques themselves gradually shrinking in size. I attribute this success in part to dietary changes - his diet was awful - lots of animal fats, junk foods, fizzy drinks etc plus beer & ciggys. He has made a determined effort & it has been paying off for him. It is important I think, to emphasise in cases like this that treatment is very much a partnership ie the patient has to do their bit too. Key herbs - Smilax definitely. A wonderful herb & central to treatment. Carduus - apparently silymarin reduces leukotriene formation via inhibition of lipoxygenase. It also rebalances cAMP cGMP levels which is abnormal in the skin cells of patients with psoriasis. (See The Healing Power of Herbs - T Murray). Arctium lappa - Start with low doses. I got a bit keen initially with my patient & the skin flared up. It calmed down again once the Arctium was removed. I think it is a pretty vital herb to include, but this blokes system was so full of crap it didn't take much to upset things. He also needed planty of nervine support - a stressy person who internalises things rather than having a good shout once in a while.A few door slamming sessions would probably do him the world of good!! He has been seeing me for a year now & is pleased with progress. You may need to point out to your patient that treatment may take a while - it was two months before we saw definite signs of improvement. Hope this all helps Re: Wonder Claim - LING ZHI > > > > This herb is the dried fructification of the fungus called Ganoderma > lucidum > > or G. japonicum.
