Perhaps misguided moreso than prejudicial. Both my child and I can

be quite ... um ... " loud " when we're excited, and this has been my

experience with a number of others who are on the spectrum.

On the other hand, I have also been known to be exceptionally

(according to NTs) soft spoken, especially when I am particularly

agitated over some boneheaded, stupid situation created by one or

more idiots in my environment. I've learned over the years -- quite

by accident -- that this sort of reaction is quite unnerving to NTs

as they are expecting firework reactions and do not understand how

to react to the quiet, logical, methodically oriented Aspie mind

dealing with some boneheaded, stupid situation created by one or

more idiots.
