Kim,

PEG-40 castor oil is available from several manufacturers. How much are you

looking to purchase? I may be able to help you.

PEG-40 Castor oil

To and ,

Where does one purchase PEG-40 Castor Oil and if this is a very effective

o/w emulsifier, can I use it in place of the emulsifying wax (Cetearyl

Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, PEG-150 Stearate & Steareth-20) and castor oil that

I currently use in my lotion formula?

Thanks for the help,

Kim

Turkey red oil is sulfated castor oil. This is castor oil that is reacted

with sulfuric acid.

>PEG-40 castor oil

Would this be the same as some suppliers refer to as Turkey Red Castor Oil?

I appreciate your offer of help in purchasing the PEG-40 Castor oil. However, I

am unsure of how much I would need until I can be sure that I can use it in

place of the emulsifying wax and castor oil I currently use in my lotion

formula. Would you have any information for me on that?

Thank you,

Kim Lenderts
