The G.I. doc wants to try Zantex 75mg 1 pill two times a day and then move up to 2 pills 2 times a day if Ben's upper stomach pain doesn't subside. He also wants to do a number of tests, including liver function, and celiac panels, xrays & ultrasound of digestive system. He wants to do an endoscope if the Zantac doesn't help things... Of course for the celiac panels he wants Ben on gluten for at least three weeks (I've been slightly less strict anyhow for the past couple of weeks thinking that they'd want to do the celiac test). Question: Is Zantex safe? Anything I should be worried about with the DAN! protocol? We're hoping to start the quintet soon, and antivirals too, post the rest of rest of the above mentioned tests. --Ann Quote
