Guest guest Posted December 1, 2006 Report Share Posted December 1, 2006 I am in need of your help. My dauther (nearly 4, 35lbs ASD) has been on Valtrex/Diflucan for 3 months. We had decided to do this for a trial period to see her response. She had an initial rash after a month on Valtrex. I only dosed her up to 500 2xs per day because I am paranoid about medicine with her as she is very sensitive to meds. I took her off it WEd. because my husband and I noticed her face was extremely puffy and we just didn't like the look of her and the trial period was almost over. She also has had a cold and cough (we all have the same thing) for a good week or so. Today she woke up and has a very measles like rash all over her trunk and had it prior to taking her off valtrex all over her face. Now she is off valtrex and we have an appt. with a homeopath next week who will want her off it anyway. My question is am I doing damage taking her off while she has a rash??
