I put a cardboard box in his cage and tie it down for his house/hide-away. Within a week or so, he has chewed it to bits and thrown the rest on the bottom floor of the cage. I keep having to look for new boxes for him. Silly guy. Charlotte is bossy. She is the alpha chin. When she was younger she had a great way to get rid of me when she was mad. She would sit up on her hind legs and with incredible precision send a stream of urine at my face. She hit it every time. It worked. I left her alone pretty quickly. She peed on the vet too and we laughed. will let me pet her but not pick her up. Chee is a great one to pick up. I've taken him to support groups as a therapy pet. My physician and therapists have met Chee too. When he was a few months old my grandmother was visiting. He sat on her shoulder. I thought it was pretty cool for him to make a 92-year-old woman smile. just LOVES exercise time. He gets to run around first. Meredith is a shy little one. She's a little bit too skinny too so I'm feeding her special prescription food. Theodore LOVES bath time. Chinchillas get clean by rolling around in dust. I purchase a product called " chinchilla dust, " put it in a plastic shoe box and put it in each cage. All of them like it, but Theodore is the most exuberant. and the zoo. Guest guest
Thanks for telling me more about them. Did you mention you were thinking of breeding them? How difficult, or easy is this? Kind Regards, > > > > > > > You didn't bore me at all, I loved hearing about your pets, > > particularly the personalities.
