Verbal Behavior is an ABA program, that many who are doing Lovaas programs are switching to...and having better success. It is still ABA, but has a different approach (ex: gets the child to WANT to come to the table, rather than have them sit there and "go play (leaving the table)" be the reinforcement). It emphasizes the therapist BEING the reinforcer, rather than candy or "go play." It makes teaching look like a converstation and it focuses on COMMUNICATION FIRST.

I don't live in Atlanta anymore, but I will be moving back there and I would like to see Verbal Behavior get a jumpstart there! It's a great program!
