Guest guest Posted June 26, 2008 Report Share Posted June 26, 2008 Hey guys, I had an episode today that left me a little shaken and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this. I was playing cards with some friends and I got up to check on the kids. Less than a minute later I was back at the table, but when I picked up my cards I didn't remember having those cards. And then I couldn't quite remember how I was supposed to play. Slowly it started to dawn on me and I could remember again, but I was pretty shaken up by then and started crying and really freaking out about how scared I was. I've had several instances of getting to a room and not knowing why I went there, but a little more often than I would like. It does seem to be getting worse, but my husband isn't concerned and I know he would be if there was something to be worried about. Still, I'm only 36 years old and I can't imagine how my memory is going to be when I get older. Some of you know my story; I'm dealing with several failed surgeries which have left me worse off than I was before with " just " Chiari, and there's not a lot I can do about it right now.
