Guest guest Posted May 18, 2008 Report Share Posted May 18, 2008 Greeting Everyone! My husband and I just returned from Great Neck. I had Tethered Cord surgery. The Great news is 1. My neck does NOT hurt anymore 2. No more headaches 3. Numbness and tingling gone from my head, face, arm,........all the way down to my toes. I walked barefoot in the grass and I could feel the individual blades of grass. 4. Since the detethering,my csf is traveling 5 X more rapidly than previous to the surgery. When the cord was cut, the cord moved up 21/2 inches and was measured to be 5 inches wide. Since I have hc, I was delighted to receive validation pertaining to my clumsiness and foggines of the brain. The potty side of the deal is dealt with, and I am praying for all of you that you will feel relief from your pain. God Bless You All from this group that did not give up on me.
