Guest guest
Thank you Gaelle and especially (how's tennis, ?) for " acute vasodilator test. " In return, I'd like to contribute a bibliographical reference useful to any medical translator to or from English. Medical Phrase Index: A comprehensive Reference to the Terminology of Medicine. By J.A. Lorenzini & L. zini Ley. 2001. Fourth edition, published by PMIC Practice Management Information Corporation, 4727 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90010. http://medicalbookstore.com 800-MEDSHOP ISBN 1-57066-185-5 While it is written " for medical transcriptionists, legal secretaries, court reporters, insurance claims adjusters and anyone responsible for medical records and reports, " translators will surely find it useful. I looked up " refractory " and " manage " ; found lists of words used with each. No definitions here, though. In that, it's like the respected BBI (The BBI Combinatory Dictionary of English: A Guide to Word Combinations). FWIW to you all, from Sharlee Bradley
