ER troubles

Hi all,

I had to go to the ER today, and I guess they must have me in the

system as a drug seeker. I had a migraine, neck pain and back pain.

They treated the migraine but, one I have only heard once before was,

" we don't give narcotics, plus your pain could not be caused by the

Chiari " .

So I had to go home with the other pains. I was sooo upset. I had to

go to a friend to ask for a pain reliever. Vicodin. I was afraid that

if I didn't that later I would have to go back to the ER for the pain

and another headache.

This Dr also said on a scale of 1-10, what is your pain level? I told

him a 7to8. He said now I don't think so if it were 9 to 10 you'd be

screaming, and 7 to 8 moaning terriblely. All I could think was, " I

have a migraine you idiot!!! You don't scream or moan when your head

hurts, that just makes it worse. "

He also called my PCP and my PCP said that My chiari is not the cause

of my problems. Well if that is the case " WHY are they not trying to

find the problem???? " I guess I just needed to vent sorry guys and
