Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I am a bit frustrated. I am so torn between (1) just accepting that I have a disease that is rare and I won't ever figure out why I am sick and (2) really just going after a reason (Great job Els - by the way! I sure hope you can find out what is making you sick and help us all!!!!) I am having some awful right side pain (front and back) - my doctor thought it was kidney stones and recommended a trip to ER. The CAT scan showed no kidney stones and all my blood work was fine. I am thinking it is related to eating. I am really nauseous about 10 to 20 minutes after eating. Flaring up as usual - new bumps popping out all the time. Of course the ER docs had no clue about EN - one actually said to me that it was " just " a derm. thing and it couldn't be related. In a very nice way, I educated him a bit about us ENers. I am resting mainly because my side hurts so much I have to! Any experience here? Guesses? Advice on what to follow up on? - sorry about all those bumps ouch! Beautiful pictures though - Your son is adorable!!!! Have a great weekend! Deb
Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Thanks so much for all the replies to my desperate cry for help. I am still in a lot of pain and did some research into some other doctor choices in the middle of the night last night. I am going to call my regular doctor today and get an appointment but I am also calling to the gastroen. department at the teaching hospital nearby. I am going to try to get the doctors to figure this out - I don't have a choice. It really hurts. I will keep you posted when I find anything out - hopefully you will remember me by then - ha! Thanks again for taking the time to share with me your stories and give some advice - they really helps! Deb C. Guest guest
I hope you are better now. Before I started that special diet, I had also troubles with my stomac and intestens. Now I don't have them anymore, I can eat now without getting sick. Maybe an advise: don't eat to much sugar, don't drink to much milk, don't eat to much cheese and things alike. And drink enough water. Certainly when you have these pains. It's good for your kidneys and the rest of your body. I don't drink or eat these things anymore and it helps a lot. I have the feeling that the EN is getting better. But I would tell it to your dr., and ask his opinion. Because the things I do is personal and doesn't count for everyone. Next time I see my dr., I'l ask him. I hope they can help you by finding the problem and the reason of EN. Because that's the most important. I wish you all the luck and strength you need! Guest guest
Hi Jackie, Thanks for the prayers. I am starting to feel better. I really think this could be a reaction to the Bextra I started taking last Tuesday night for my EN. I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday - I am praying he can think out-of-the-box a bit! Have a good one! Deb Jackie Siraco wrote: Good Luck and I will keep you in my prayers that your pain eases up... I will be waiting to see how you make out. Jackie S. Re: Re: E.R.
