Cookware

Before I ask my question I would first like to thank you all for the

wonderful information the is exchanged and presented on this group.

Please know that we lurkers do appreciate everything, we are just not

all that great at participating, especially when we feel you all know

so much more about the subjects brought up than we do.

Now the question, I love to cook and have managed through the years

to acquire a decent amount of cookware of pretty good quality, though

because funds are and have mostly always been limited I have no great

set. Because of all the changes in my life and the recent findings

about non stick cookware I need to replace my fry type pans and my

wok. Especially the wok which is used more than the rest of my

cookware combined. I have done my research and of course know that

stainless steel, cast iron and enameled cast iron are the best. What

I am looking for is personal recommendations for specific pieces,

brands etc. Unfortunately the prices of really good stuff is so high

I will only be able to replace one piece at a time so having some

personal recommendations would make me feel a lot better about

spending that much money. So folks what piece of cookware do you own

that you cannot live without and who makes it.

Gee for someone who doesn't normally post I can be a bit long winded

huh. lol
