Now that it finally got "cold" in Florida (read lows in the 40s, 50s & 60s), in the morning when I get up Ive noticed a return of a substernal pain that I used to get in NY. I never associated it with the cold, but its got to be due to the cold air b/c until it got cooler here.

Basically what it is is that when I get in the shower or when I am getting dressed if I reach above my head or inhale deeply I get a pain in my chest. Its only when I first get up and its not angina or anything like that. Its the same kind of pain that I get when I get bronchitis only it goes away after the first 10 minutes or so. Especially if I take a nice long hot shower where I just let the hot water beat on my chest for a few minutes.

Does anyone else experience this? What do you do about it? My peak flows are great at the moment...above 550. Pollen counts are really low here now but the main pollens are ragweed, grass and elm....all of which I am allergic to.
