Guest guest
I'm not sure what disability you are trying for, but I can say for sure that SSI and SSDI have nothing to do with age (after one attains adulthood) or having a child at home. State aid may have these requirements. So can trying to get aid on a former spouse's account. I found that having a doctor who knew how to write up reports for Social Security was invaluable. I did not use nor need an attorney, but if you choose to use one their fees are limited by law.
