Guest guest
Hi , I dealt with horrible plantar fasciitis for several years. I had just about every treatment short of surgery including cortisone shots, acupuncture, chiropractic, extracorporeal shock wave therapy, night splints, massage, exercises, orthotics, z-coil shoes and more. All of that seemed to help some but never really did it. My feet finally started to get better when I took care of the rest of my health issues, like heavy metal detox, anti-virals, anti-candida, lots of nutritional supplements, better diet and lots of magnesium oil. But one thing I found most helpful was advice from a chiropractor that most PF is caused by too short shoes which cramp the toes. None of my shoes felt too short but I did notice that my feet hurt alot less in the summer when I wear open toed sandles. As soon as I would put on my regular shoes my feet would hurt. Then I realized the orthotics which were custom made for me actually pushed my feet down into the front of my shoe thus cramping my toes. I took out the $450 orthotics and the shoes were looser and my feet didn't hurt. So now I just don't use the orthotics and my feet have been pretty good. I still don't go barefoot though, ever. Hope this helps. in Albuquerque > > I mentioned that I'd provide an update, so here it is, 3 weeks or so > from my first email.
