Guest guest Posted February 26, 2009 Report Share Posted February 26, 2009 Hi all! I am finally back from the doctor. I knew it was going to take all day! LOL! I started having major pain in my joints and bones in my legs this morning. Dr. Murray says he knows that the leg pain is the Imuran and that will go away with continued use. The peak flow issue he is not sure about. He said that is not a normal side effect, but the situation with my lungs is nowhere near normal either. So, we are discontinuing the Imuran until I am back to normal. Upping my prednisone to 75mg/day for today and tomorrow to give me a boost in case this is some kind of virus or something. Of course, if I deteriorate any more I will have to go to the hospital, but for now both of us agree that it is not necessary. My flows are too low, but they are not critical. I am supposed to follow up with him on Monday & if I am back to normal we will try the Imuran again. If I do the same thing then we will know for sure and permanently stop it and try something else.
