Guest guest
Hi Jan, and welcome to the list. Do you know what sort of approach the Conroe schools are taking? That is, what sort of intervention methods? ---------- > >To: <Autism-Behav-TXonelist> >Subject: Re: [Autism-Behav-TX] Welcome to Autism-Behav-TXonelist >Date: Wed, Sep 1, 1999, 4:45 PM > [snip]
Guest guest
No , I don't much about anything yet. We had our ARD last Friday, adding Autism and additional services. They can't even tell me how long it will take for my in-home trainer to be assigned. I went to a support group meeting last night. It's not officially sponsored by the district, but parents and teachers both attend. Last night, even our Special Ed Director was there. at the meetings, there are no boundaries between parents and staff, those attending are there for the children, it's a very exciting thing for Conroe. One of the teachers even feels so strongly about it, she and her teen aged daughters have child care so parents who need it can still attend, and one of the schools allow the meetings to be held in their library. I am very excited about this group, and I will share as I learn things. Jan
Guest guest
I'd like to welcome all new members; I am Anja, Norwegian " Macrobiotic Technical Specialist " (kind of nurse within macrobiotic medicine and treatment). Also, Reggie, welcome back from the cruise. I am glad you had a good time. I now understand why I was not able to go. Sort of any way.... My wish was to take my friend (the doctor in macrobiotics) on the cruise so he could meet up with his teacher again after so many years. And I was hoping to .... let's call it benefit from him knowing Mishio Kushi (shame on me), that is for me to meet the great teacher too. But I learned from a previous mail that Mr. Kushi was not on the cruise after all, so that explains it, I guess. I have had my shares of discharge while my body was cleaning itself; I know of yeast infections. A living, itching hell.... I worked through it by taking hip baths: Bring water to boil (about 3 liters in a pot), add a strip of kobu and a handfull of seasalt, pluss a handfull of dried leaves (turnip leaves, daikon leaves etc.) Boil for about 20 minutes. The water in the bath tub should be as hot as you can take it. Add a handfull of seasalt and strain the water from the pot into the tub. Put a towel around your shoulders to keep chest warm. Sit in the tub for 20 minutes. You will sweat. Make sure not to get cold afterwards. Also use a bancha douche. And most important: KEEP THE FOOD BALANCED. After a while the infection will be gone. & gt;From: & quot;purpleveg & quot; & lt;purpleveg@... & gt; & gt;Reply-To: VeganMacrobiotics & gt;To: VeganMacrobiotics & gt;Subject: new member alert & gt;Date: Tue, 08 Mar 2005 05:01:09 -0000 & gt; & gt; & gt;Ok, new member in Portland.......... let's all welcome her and give & gt;her the attention she's looking for, she needs macro info and & gt;incentive.
