Hello all

I have a pt that is 69y/o and is on Medicare due to age not

esrd or disability. His spouse is still working and has an eghp that she would

like to drop. Can

Anyone tell me if that is wise. He has Medicare a/b

and a Medicare supplement and is willing to get part D also. We are evaluating

him for a kidney Tx.

Thanks

If the patient has both Medicare and a supplement and will have Part D, that's sufficient coverage, as long as the patient is aware of the "donut hole"
